Molly Lienesch has over 25 years of marketing experience, with a focus on the financial services, technology, and consumer goods industries. Through positions of increasing responsibility, she has developed expertise in direct marketing, branding, marketing strategy, operations, and market research. She has been with Callan Consulting since 2021.
Prior to joining Callan Consulting, Molly co-founded Stansberry Asset Management in 2015. She served as President and CMO of the company, a startup investment advisor focused on high-net-worth clients. For the year prior, Molly provided marketing consulting services to technology companies, where her work included lead generation, new product positioning and launch plans, sales content development, and quantitative and qualitative market research.
Prior to her work as a consultant, Molly led a 60+ person team responsible for generating sales leads to support over 200 salespeople in the US, Canada, and Europe at Fisher Investments as Group Vice President, Marketing for the global Private Client Group. She oversaw multiple marketing channels including online, email, direct mail, print, and radio and television, and she led marketing expansion into nine new countries. Her other experience includes time spent at Clorox working as a brand manager and at Nielsen and Spectra Marketing leading quantitative market research projects.
Molly holds an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, where she was a Fuqua Scholar, and a BA from Michigan State University, where she graduated with honors. She lives in the San Francisco bay area with her husband and twin sons.
